Were is a good place to find a B&S V twin engine for a Huyndai swap?

Welcome! If you aren't worried about having all new stuff, find a Mower either for-sale,or check the local mower-shops to see if they have a "GraveYard" out back.Thats how we buy most of them.If you are looking for New and want a swap-kit,then go thru one of our Site-Sponsors for a Big-Block Conversion-Kit.Hope this helps.

Thanks panchanga90. Do you happen to know of any particular mower brands that use the B&S motor?

There are alot of them, the hard part is finding a Horizontal-Shaft motor,Most are Verticals.Look at stuff like power-washers,rollers,etc..Not sure...But a Yamaha G2 swap-kit may be close for fit, have to check into it more though to be sure.

You'll need to find a horizontal shaft engine.

You beat me to it, P.

Cub Cadet 2000 series(not year) and up mostly came with horizontal shaft motors. My Briggs 16hp came from a Cub 2160.

Thanks guys. I will be on the look out.
I also heard of another idea of getting a diesel engine from old commercial A/C units. I heard they normally throw them away. I'm not looking for speed as I only use it for around the house jobs. Also it would be fun creepin in the mud. Maybe make it a 4x4. Oh I better stop I'm getting out of hand.

Simplicity used horizontals.

You can get a 10hp diesel and the torque is quite high. Guy here put one in a little truckster said it worked good. $615 http://www.carrollstream.com/category_s/36.htm I bought my first clone from them, of course the gas engines are cheaper....if you go new. I paid 264 tmd for my 420 clone from home depot online but they went up to 300 or something. Maxtool and harbor freight are good ones. That is the problem here I can't get a mower that runs for 300, I rather have a new motor given the choice anyway. I like power too but been pulling the front tires with this clone and stock clutches so not really sure I must have more power.

Thank you all for your help.
sho305 do you know what the performance from the diesel was vs yours? I only have 3 acres so once the peddle is down you have to back off. As far as the cost. I'd rather spend a couple extra for a better fit.
