I missed them. I'll try again tomorrow.

On a similar note, if the primary clutch appears stock, I would assume its the original from this '97 which is CW rotation. How's that work? Could the engagement timing be off because it's not designed for CCW rotation? Any recommendations for it's replacement? I thought I read somewhere the comet clutches are no longer made.... Isn't there also a tapered shaft adapter someone sells?

Primary clutches don't care which way they are turning. They use weights that move on centrifugal force and compress the spring.

Looks like a stock clutch out of a 90s EZGo to me. Not sure if CC used the same clutches then or not. Tom at CPP can help you identify it, and what springs you need in it.

Nice exhaust setup.

You guessed it. Talked to Tom today and he mentioned the Essness thread where this dame issue was worked on to great extent. Thanks for the help.

Hey you have a bigger problem then the crappy ezgo clutch, Your driven clutch is put on backwards. Turn it around spring side in and you will have much better response.
Then once you get the 07 clutch on there things will get MUCH better

Sorry I didn't get to it yesterday. Once you turn it around it will work much better.
