Which Belt???
Hey guys. Im putting a 13hp Briggs motor in my 92 EZGO. Im using the original primary clutch and secondary clutch that came on the cart. Which belt should i use? Im running 25" tires on 12: rims and would like to be able to gain a little low end grunt and i figured that i might be able to do so with a different belt. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Which Belt???
I'm having good luck with my HD kevlar belt from CPP. Are you going to keep it a stock length belt? If you can make the engine mount so you can adjust it some, nice feature to tune it to the belt length. All in all if you have a 1 3/16 belt 20hp is nothing for about any belt, but how it sits in the clutch and modding the clutch will change how it works. The HD belt I have is slightly wider and should be more efficient because it has top cogs. Wider makes it sit higher in the secondary, that give you a lower gear when you take off just like if you cut the secondary sheave.
