Default Gas in oil

Has anyone had a problem with the 20hp Honda and gas in the oil? I pulled the carb cleaned and checked everything but didn't find anything. Is it possible for the pulse fuel pump to leak fuel into the vacuum tube?

Check the carb float pin, it's probably worn.

Gas in oil from leaking carb or leaking pulse pump to the crankcase....usually one of those.

Thanks I thought it might be the pump but a local shop said it couldn't get through there to the oil

It can if the diaphragm in there goes bad, and usually they are not expensive, if that is the problem and its not the carb.

Found a OEM Honda fuel pump for $20 so hopefully that solves the problem and I don't have any damage from the contaminated oil.

Replaced the fuel pump and changed oil two times. Took carb back off and double checked parts for wear and seal also set float a bit lower. Have about 1/2 hour run time on new oil and the oil appears to be contaminated again. The engine starts and runs good I can't imagine that much fuel going through the carb and not flooding the engine. I did take the old pump apart and found both sides of the diaphragm wet but couldn't find a hole.
