Default 88 clubcar axle hold up to 500cc bike motor?

i have a 1985ish club car and a 1988 fnr transmission/axle out of a old gasser clubcar. I know the input is reversed. Now i wanna run the motor back wards with a jack shaft. Im looking to use a 500cc biike motor with about 55hp. What shoulent be to crazy. Would rather just get a 1:1 fnr gearbox with an atv swing arm but way to much$$. I think the old clubcar rearend should hold up. Only major stress would be dumping the clutch compared to a soft engage from a cvt transmission. I want reverse!! So im thinking a nice synhetic oil for the higher rpms the 5 speed bike motor will be turning the rearend. I realize i will have to get technical with the gearing going in. Unless i can get a fnr gearbox for round 300 i will go that way but..... also cart has bout 1.5 foot lift with atv front a arms and staring/brakes.

I know they use yami rears on ricer motors. They hold up but can blow if you dump the clutch. They say you don't need to dump the clutch with that much power anyway they just ease away then gas on it and start spinning. They hardly shift gears because the powerband is so wide on them. Most cart rears are something like 13:1 reduction you need a small sprocket on it.
