Default my briggs has a few problem

I've had my motor out the cart for a while now and just started back to working on it. I got my alternator wire fixed so I decided to change the oil and check the valves. While rotating the clutch I noticed a nocking sound that sounds kinda like maybe the connecting rods slapping the crank. So I decided to open up the motor but I can't get the clutch off. I read where a puller is needed but there is no threaded part of my clutch. I soaked it with pb blaster and tried my gear puller only to bend the clutch a lil so I stopped. So any ideas on the knocking and how to get the clutch off

Lol I didn't think about that, I was helping my brother install a rev kit, and head gaskets in his cart and was just messing around with mine. I'll wack it a few times tomorrow
