bb rearend twisting
been riding ole'zilla for a day or two and when i romp on it a couple of times the rearend tweaks or rolls slightly upwards and i have to losen all the U-bolts to re-adjust it ....it's already snapped a u bolt now....what do i do???

Get a smaller motor!
If you have the correct u-bolts, and they are installed correctly, they shouldn't be doing that with the hp you have. Any pics of the setup? |

not yet i've put many a U-bolts in never had this happen and they are tight as heck too !!

Did you cut the pins off the axle tube when you installed it below the springs?

I took a look at the Jake's lift for your cart. If I was putting that on my cart, I wouldn't rely on the rear riser/u-bolts to keep the axle from turning. I would weld the riser to the axle tube. It would probably be ok for a stock motor, but with the vanny, it's too much torque. I would weld it even with a stock motor. It's basically a spring perch, just like on a 4x4(jeep). They are always welded to the tube.

Good call out here...I'm gonna have to peek at mine. A few tack welds wouldn't hurt...this thing will never be close to stock again anyway.
