vanguard 18 2 bbl fuel solinoid

I was wondering if someone can explain how the fuel sol. On these carbs work having some issues getting fuel while carb plates are shut

i took a cut off wheel to the sol arm and cut it off and put it back in and left it disconnected or you can go to the hardware store and get a short bolt to put in place of the sol.

Thanks figured it would have nothing to do with the fact that its reving really high Evan with the butterflys closed off tight

if it is revving high with the throttle plates closed, either the idle screw is turned in too far or there is an air leak somewhere. behind the carb.

Check all the hoses for cracks.

Fixed all intake leaks I'm sure and it runs good just dissent seem to want to idle have to keep it reved up but getting somewhere lol also should mention cut the heads 50 thou thinner head gaskets port and polish isky springs billet retainers and billet push rods ignition timing advance

Got the motor running but the 2bbl is spraying fuel out of the overflow carb is spotless clean ?

Maybe bend the float tab a bit
