Default Is it a gx 620 or 670

Can any one shed some light on my problem. I found a fully rebuilt gx 620 for sale for a great price and promptly had a look at it and it looked like new and ran great so I took it home. Upon getting it home and giving it a close inspection I found the sticker on the plastic shroud to say 20 hp which to my knowledge would make it a gx620 but the little sticker on the side of the engine says it is a gx 670 24hp. Just wondering if there is a way of telling the two apart without stripping it down? Any input would be awesome thank you.

The output shaft diameter on a GX620 is 1" and on a GX670 is 1-1/8". Also under the starter motor ,etched on the block is a motor id# write down all info and provide to forum, we could find model then.

They use the same block. Could be either. Crank will tell. 66mm Stroke on the 620 and 72mm stroke on the 670

Well it must be a 670 then because it is a 1 1/8" shaft but I will try and find the id number and post it for interests sake.
