Re: briggs numbers?
It should be a 23hp Vanguard with 1" keyed crank. Definitely worth $500 if everyhing is there. Starter, charging circuit, fuel pump. Offer $400 and see what happens.

Re: briggs numbers?
ok from what i see on parts tree it looks good if not the same as the 303447 engine we like to use in conversions my only problem would be the price hurdle if your going to build the engine up , removing the governer and upgrading the valve train and then add a 4-5 hundred dollar clutch, i know personally i have almost 1k in my engine and still need some parts check out another members posts 1989marathon he built one that is now able to churn 7k rpm , i know most other members would gladly pay 500 for an engine but i figure if i have to get that deep in an engine a full bore and rebuild is going to happen i have to start with a bad engine or cheap one. if you are just going to use it as a stock and not crack it open and spend a fortune internally

Re: briggs numbers?
About $40 each. There are two of them. Unless both of them are bad, it should start with just one good coil. More than likely, the diodes are bad in the kill wire. That costs about $3 to fix.

Re: briggs numbers?
There are a lot of parts that fit. The coils don't appear to be one of them though.
