Default 1&7/16 shaft clutch

Is there a clutch available for that size shaft?

I looked for almost a year and could not find one, good luck.
The co. that bought comet told me that they were looking into it but not at that time.

I had the same problem when I got my Kohler 25hp. Looked everywhere for a clutch. I removed the crank ant took it to Standard Crankshaft Co Inc. in Charlotte, NC. Good people to work with. I took it there and said I needed it ground down to 1 1/8. He asked it I wanted on the hi side or the low side of 1 1/8. I told him 1 1/8. Make sure you ask them to cut 1/4 keyway for it also. another thing to think about is the shaft length. Usually these shafts are too long and the bolt opening in the center is too big for the bolts that hold the clutch on. What I did was hold the motor uo a chop saw and cut the end off to the size I needed and then drilled and tapped it out to the bolt size that came with the clutch. If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me and I can help ya out.
