Question?
What would be involved in putting this motor in a 1996 club car? It is a 20hp honda... and will it fit without a lift? I was just wondering if it would bolt straight in and will the stock clutch fit? Also for a big block does the fuel pump have to be upgraded, and if so to what? thanks

Re: Question?
Short answer to ALL of your questions is NO. It will not directly bolt in.
You will either have to fab your own swap kit or buy one. You will also need a clutch, stock one will not fit. Then theres the wrong direction thing....not sure if yours will be that way but some club car swap require you to run in reverse gear to go forward. |

Re: Question?
Also I see your oil filter location is not going to work depending on the direction of the drive, I had to buy a different oil filter mount from Honda. I am doing a 20HP project myself. Take a look under "My 20HP project". I am using the same engine as you have only in an EZGO.

Re: Question?
yea i noticed the driven pully is on the other side as mine. so that probably means ive got to run in reverse to go forward...

Re: Question?
i found a 350cc club car motor made by kawi. even though it is a larger motor it should bolt right in? considering the fact that it is used in the work horse version of club car. Am i correct or going in the wrong direction?
