polaris clutch taper dimensions

Does anyone know the taper measurements for polaris ATV clutches? I need to have an adapter made for a motor I got.

30 mm diameter and a 1 in 10 taper.

actually I believe it's 1 yard taper per 10 yards in length.

Same as most carts, but the depth in the clutch can be different which will set the clutch closer/further from the block. I think the 30mm is the large side of the taper, the small side is still over 1" which is 25.4mm. I just bought a 94c for an ezgo the taper is inside the clutch maybe .75" or something, while my yamaha is outside the clutch the crank is very short on those....actually I mean the pulley as that is the last part of the clutch.

nope, usually generator taper is 1:5 starting at 7/8". And that's about the only common taper.

Speaking of Rifter, I just nabbed an electric start, pull start, Briggs 14hp Vtwin for 150 off craigslist in Oveido the other day, and low and behold it has a long gen set taper.

This will be my second time taking a long gen set taper to the machine shop with my *extra* stock EH Robin crankshaft to have the long taper made into a stock taper for golf cart clutch use.

I swear you could just cut these long tapers off the right length and they would work, but not the skinny tapers.. it has to be the fat one..LOL.

There is a racing vanguard with a taper crank I am told, for midget cars I think. Given the mods to it the price was not that bad. I forget the name of it, is on the net someplace.

$1600 30hp they say, I was told it had a taper crank but I don't know for sure. It looks like a keyed shaft to me in the diagram.
