will this keyswitch work???
i bought a new switch to start cart-zilla with it is marked acc,off,on and start will this shut the engine down too? here's a link to it... http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-13869-85936.aspx

I think you will need a relay to open the kill ground when it is on.

The problem with using a relay to open the ground when the motor is running is that while the starter is cranking, your voltage will go low. It may go too low to energize the relay, so your ignition will be dead while cranking. You should get a switch that has the ground circuit built into it. That is a 30A switch. It is not intended for your application. Plus, a relay is just one more thing that can go wrong.

I stole mine off an old garden tractor that had a Briggs in it. I also got the connector for the switch.
The other nice thing about it is that it has a position for your lights. |
