reverse not engaging while running
I have an ez-go with a 16 hp v-twin and the stock 94 ez-go clutch. when i try to put it in reverse it dosen't always go untill it rolls foward a couple of feet. Is this normal? Do I need to adjust the cables or is the clutch engaging at a low rpm?

What spring are you running in the clutch?

Re: reverse not engaging while running
I would get a stiffer engagement spring(higher RPMs), or a different clutch. I have an opposed and can get it to idle pretty low, barely running, and I had issues. I bought they comet 780 and works flawlessly. to bad I trashed my engine!

Your belt could be a little too tight.
