Default Little help deceiding on what set up?

What is the big difference if any between the Vanguard 18 hp and the 23HP? I am assuming there is only one location to get the complete kit from?

The 23 is 50cc larger, more torque and has a 2bbl carb. I've got the 23 from CCP, with the cam and rev kit. I'm very happy with it. It's pricey, but 1,2,3 and you're on the road.

For 50ccs and a whole 'nother barrel in the carb, that price difference is a no-brainer!

I take it the change is pretty straight forward? I was considering the clone motor but I think the Vanguard kit seems to be more complete, but there is a huge difference in price

It was very straight forward, at least in a Yamaha G16. Nothing extra to buy, and zero fabrication to make it work. A new carb to gov cable was included, and the instructions called for hooking it up to the gov, like stock. I wasn't happy with that because the cart gov was holding the cart back. So I made a small bracket and fastened the 2 cables together, eliminating the gov. Much happier with it that way.

Tom's (CCP) 23 Big Block is the good stuff, you get the 23 with all his options you'll have all the fun you can imagine.
