Oil filter

For anyone needing a oil filter for the Briggs V- Twins. Wix #57035 is the right # for the small filter. I haven't looked for the longer one yet since mine has to use the smaller filter.
I got mine at O-Riellys today.

I figured if everyone will list what they have we will have a nice data base for filters and never have to worry about what to look for.

I removed the filter assembly, and dont run a filter. It was way too tight in there. I change oil very frequently.

there is also a factory(briggs) relocation kit for the filter

I bought the adapter that mounts to the motor and used a remote oil filter. If you buy the complete Briggs kit, it is over $120. It ended up being too much clutter so I scrapped it.
