Default Working on a few issues !!

Well tore into the cart yesterday, I have been having a small issue with the rear end since it first went together. Is seems once I put the final two bolts into the pumpkin by the input shaft area it get harder to turn the gears. So I took it apart yesterday and swapped out a couple of parts to see if anything changed,,,nope anyone got any ideas? Donor rear end

Another issue I am working on is the hubs, seems that I can't keep them tight no matter how much I tighten them, as you can see from the pic they were starting to strip out again. Can these rear discs mount up to the Ausco's hubs?

Ok, another thought I have been reading trying to determine the right answer but I just can't seem to get the one. I have considered going to a 2bbl setup but finding an older carb with the black tube is not as easy, also I have read some on the Mikuni carbs but not sure if I should go to a single which I have seen a 38 to 40mm suggested and something about 38mm flat side??? Any help in this area would be helpful....

To take the driven clutch apart all you have to do is remove the snap ring but be advised there is a spring under it and you should mark the two haves so that you can clock it in the right position when going back together.
The differential looks like it has a hole in the housing?
And the hubs I read need a torque of 90-95 ft lbs.
Here is a link to the carb.http://www.bikebandit.com/mikuni-tm-...&utm_campaign=

That diff you see is the donor one.

As far as the carb goes, since that is single will I see a difference from the stock carb and will it mount to the engine?

Did the axle spin freely before disassembly? Maybe the parts you swapped out weren't any good, sticky bearings? Definitely doesn't sound right.

Not sure of the carbs performance but it will support an accelerator pump for better throttle response. Here is a sight that sells them for the mud motors may want to call them.
