Default What to buy

Hey guys I am newer here. But not new to engine swaps both my fords have cummins. Now the bob swap has bitten me. I can't leave anything alone. Anyways my question is what engine would you guys recommend 18 hp or the 23 hp? I use the cart for everything I drive it around town, cut firewood with it, take it hunting, and just tool around on it.

Even though I bought the 18hp, I think the 23 is a better option for what you use the cart for.

Well I traded my 72 volt electric cart for this 20HP V-Twin cart. As in the electric area. There is no substute for voltage as in a gas engine there is no sustitute for displacement! Bigger is better when it comes to engine size.

Depends on what you do with it, what your budget is. 23 has more torque better for towing and big loads, better for modding later for more power. 18 will get the job done can get great speeds with only a rev kit, its a little cheaper. Both can be modded with larger cams and all that, both have *way* more power than stock. How much do you care about power?

For low end torque, I'd get the 23hp with the 16hp heads.
For high end, I'd get the 23hp.

Sure I agree, I'd get the 23 if your budget is not tight.

I am lucky enough to not have a tight budget. If my wife only knew lol. I was thinking the 23 but needed reassurance that my hp addiction wasn't blurring my thinking.
