Heads up on Vanny parts

For anyone looking to upgrade their Vanguard to a 2-barrel, here are some Briggs Vanguard parts for sale. The 30 heads with aluminum rockers is a good deal. Also, the 2-bbl intake is a good deal. No affiliation.

The 35 heads are for 35cu in(18-20hp) motors. They won't fit a 35hp motor.

Most of the racing mowers use a vertical engine,the crank is vertical instead of horizontal

What is this vertical vs horizontal you speak of?

The heads are the same for both motors.
