I think they are in the 36-38 mph range with stock gears. It all comes down to the rpm of the engines, and the v twins usually top out in the 5500-6000 rpm range with the rev kits. Are you trying to compare with your Polaris setup? You are going to be over 50 mph on that thing, especially with 36" tires LOL.

Had Wilson to 50mph and the stock "worm shaft/pitman" steering and relativly stock front end put the "WHOA NELLIE" facture instantly. Now with a better front suspension and rack and pinion steering...could be more. That's what I'm hoping for on Yamahauler

My old EZGO has tight steering, stock suspension and decent rear brakes. It works well enough for 25 mph but 50 mph would likely land my cart in the ditch and me in the ER. When I was a young whipper-snapper I'd have tried it anyway but I'm too old and careful now.

No slo, just thinking of my next build. Not sure if I will stick with Yamaha or not on that build. I really like Yamaha carts...

Lol sure. I ran 37mph gps for maybe near a mile in my cart on a paved road just to see. I have spent hours adjusting the toe so it goes well on a hard surface at speed. Just the same I don't really enjoy it at that speed a rack would be much nicer as well as dual arms. Its a G9 with a 420 clone, stock gears, 22 tires with 14psi in the rears at the time, vegas HD springs and 1.3 rockers, timing key, cut head, ported, stock cam. I ran 31 I think with a stock clone in another G9 with same tires, on a dirt drive, gps, and I mean all stock engine save a fabricated car airbox and car muffler and jetting to make it run again...so it valve floats at 4600 or so. Mine was over 5500 but the $15 tach gets funny after that.
