Cub Cadet wheels
Does anyone know if 12" MTD/Cub Cadet 4 bolt wheels will work on a golf cart? I want plain steel wheels on one of my carts and I have some big ATV tires I'd like to use. Backspacing looks like a problem though. Probably need spacers. Here's the wheels I'm referring to. Also a list of some CC models that have those wheels.

Re: Cub Cadet wheels
If they are a 4 bolt pattern, then probably yes. I used some off a Troy-Bilt riding mower :D

Re: Cub Cadet wheels
That's good to know. Any other donor machines with 10" or 12" 4 lug rims out there guys? I mean the solid type. Not the slotted trailer wheels. They don't float my boat. I'm realistic about peer pressure though. If everybody else liked them I would want them too but right now that's not the case.

One thing to be careful of though, mine aren't straight. They kinda wobble side to side some. Not sure if it's because they were stuck on the riding mower and had to beat on with a hammer or because the tolerance for a lawn mower is much less.... New ones would alleviate the first issue at least.

Re: Cub Cadet wheels
I'm pretty familiar with lawn and garden tractors and the rear wheels are typically as straight as any other type. Must be bent from pounding on it like you said, or maybe a bad axle hub. I get a kick out of finding out about things that will work on something else, especially if it's an inexpensive substitution. I actually have a wheel right now that won't come off an old vert shaft Cub Cadet. Left side slid off easy. Right side is looking like it will require nukes.

Re: Cub Cadet wheels
Also look for a steering wheel from a Troy-Bilt rider, the spline is exactly the same and slips right onto our Club Cars :D Kinda hard to tell from the pic but it looks just like this one.
