Default Killed my CAM

Have the motor out of the cart to fix the clutch and put the steal shim head gaskets on adjusted the valves spun the motor thru and noticed #2 intake did not move as much as the rest of the valves and it pushes a little air out of the intake manifold. I guess I will pull it down and go for round two.
And yes I used good oil with zinc in it.

Check to see if you dropped a valve guide.

How do you know? And why would it blow air with a flat lobe?

I noticed in the intake it had signs of reversion going on so when I put the new head gaskets on I took .002 out of the lash to help with that issue but know I believe it was due to the cam.

Remove the rocker for that valve and see if it still blows air out the intake when you spin it by hand. A flat lobe will not cause that. A dropped valve guide, or a bent valve will.

It only happened when the valve would open.
Do you think I can save the case gasket?
