G9 big block mount
Does anyone have a source for one of these or have made one that has dimensions on how it was made? CPP has one but not sure if it works on the G9. I've sent them a message waiting for a reply. And $190 seems a bit steep basically for some flat stock. Maybe it's just that I'm a tight azz.

Re: G9 big block mount
If you have the time, you will be alot further ahead making one. They are pretty simple, and you can either run it with the stock rubber -mounts,or solid-mount it.You will have about $20 at worst case in it.We make all our own mounts and havent had any issues.Taking your time on clutch-alignment and spacing is the key.

I'm in the same boat, I can't see spending $190 on $15 of flat stock, I am considering buying a cheap welder and making my own.

Re: G9 big block mount
The biggest thing is building the legs, which are stepped, easier and stronger if they are bent, instead of welded. Then just mount the plate to them.

Re: G9 big block mount
The G2/G9 mounts are raised, and you need to step them down, If you look at the stock mounts, they also drop. You can use the stock front and rear mounts and modify as needed.G1/G9(Tom) would be the one to talk to on these, hes' done a bunch of them, and I think he said he uses both stock mounts, and adds a plate?

Re: G9 big block mount
Hopefully Tom will see this and chime in. I have access to the metal just need some guidance on measurements. I agree bending would be stronger. But I won't tell my wife that. ( i want a welder ) LOL
