Re: ez-go sportsman 800 4x4
I will be working on the brakes and wiring over the next few days. Hope to be using it for hunting in the next week or so. Once I get it done I'm going to lift it 3" and put 28" mud tires.
This is where I stopped today. |

The time line is doable,..... Most of my wiring gremlins was of my doing.
Things I learned: Don't weld on it with battery cables hooked up,.... label every wire with tape and sharpie,... if a carb is gravity fed then gravity feed it,... |

Re: ez-go sportsman 800 4x4
Looking good, but one thing. It looks like the tires are awful close to the body in the front. All these ATV swaps have me itching to do one. But I need a donor ATV.
The reason I'm thinking this is that I would like my build to be 4 wheel drive. I look forward to seeing more pictures of your build. |

They are close but won't rub with the 3" lift. I wanted to keep the overall length at 66". I could have moved the body back more on the atv frame but the engine would take up more of the golf cart floor. I got the steering done and a few other things. Will take some pics and post them later
