New here
Hello everyone
Just picked this buggy up this week. Needs a new driveshaft and the tran needs to be messed with. All I know so far is it powered by an xj750 motor. Maybe someone on here knows the original builder before I start to make my changes. South Florida area Guy Any input would be appreciated |

Re: New here
Looks like a full custom to me. But appears to be well built. Unusual for a cart to have the engine in the front, but can't tell how the front and rear are set up.
Is it 2 or 4 wheel drive? I'd like to see pictures of the entire thing in small chunks, such as the rear differential, the front end, the frame and pictures of how it all connects together and how the suspension is set up. I see that it's fan cooled and snorkled as well. |

Re: New here
I'll post some more pic later today. It is 2wd. It's running a Yamaha xj750 engine. Only has 2 gears running. I have to get into the transmission. Also has a bent drive shaft. So I will have to have another manufactured.

Re: New here
Only two gears due to problems in the trans? This is the part would bother me and could be the costly/hard fix.
The drive shaft shouldn't be any big problem. I've cut down a couple for truck engine swaps and they turned out good with no vibration. I am looking forward to seeing the pictures. It looks like someone has spent a lot of time and $$$ building that one. |

Re: New here
I took a couple pics today. Anyone know what the rear end might be out of? I want to know if I can change the gearing in it.

Re: New here
I have no idea what kind of rear differential it is. Definitely some fab went into the cart though. Looks plenty beefy enough though.

Re: New here
the front end looks like volswagen stearing box and a 4x4 front axle with the pot and drive shafts removed to me
