Hi guys , here's my project from the last couple of months .
It's still a work in progress but slowly i'm getting there . Bought the cart and the motor real cheap , the original electric engine was broken ,batterys where dead . So instead of invest in all of the above i bought a Suzuki gsxr 1100 and started the swap . (I am from Holland , so sorry for my bad English. |

Monumental undertaking. Will be impressive when you get it all done and will surprise a lot of people who might try to pass you in their golf cart. :)

Re: 1100cc swap
I would like to see more how exactly you mounted the rear axle, Will the rear axle pivot up and down on the bolts? Is the engine mounted solid and the axle mount separate? What are you doing to upgrade the front suspension? And now last but most important how do you plan to stop it?

The engine mounts are solid from the chassis but the original rubber bushings are still in the engine so it's almost the same as it came off the bike |

And to answer your question about the rear axle, this is a temporary setup , I probably going to make it the same as the axle setup.
And in the back I will use a disc brake from a go kart or a atv , and the front setup is a whole project by itself, and I don't have any ideas for it yet |

Re: 1100cc swap
Lots of work going on here. Very cool! Looks like that engine is too big to fit, but I'm sure you have a plan. Good fab skills!
