There is tons of good ideas in this section, spend some time and read/look at the builds that are in here, sometimes it's good to start at the end of the thread to see if they actually finished,,,, if they did then it has some good info.

i was looking at one that had the ford 9" rear and put engine in side ways. i want to keep the engine straight and less of a headache of a diff i am thinking about starting with droping the engine in first see how it fits then connecting the rear and then the steering and brakes?? i like starting by the hardest part but dnt know if that can be applied to a project like this but im still looking at threads to see if there is anything thats similar to what i have in mind so far. first i was thinking of swaping the ez go steering to one of a g22 rack and pinion??? also where do i find the disc brake kit want to see how it looks dont know if i want to leave the rear end set up meaning leaving it how it came just swapping from stock axle to a straight live axle any opinions on this guys?????

Pillow block bearings to support the rear axle, throttle cable you just have to figure it out from how your engine is made, try to use the original if possible.

ok I also have another question is there a disk brake convertion kit for a ez go golf cart or do I have to change complete suspension? I was thinking of reusing the stock axel carriers with the stock axle is it safe to do that or is it better to go with stock axel carriers with a straight live axel? what are ur thought about that mr. rifter also my engine is air/oil cooled I was thinking of mounting the oil cooler on the front of the golft cart and mounting a fan on it. also if there is a disck break converstion for this golf vart where can I buy it??/ thanks in advance for everyones input and advice I really appreciate it

If you use a stock forward/reverse axle you have to use the smallest sprocket you can buy because the stock axles are so low geared and even then they won't last long behind a bike engine, front mounted oil cooler should work just fine
