Default 600cc ninja marathon

Ok I had to do some picture re-grouping and my original post got messed up.So I decided to start over.I started with intentions of making an off-road cart but that got sideswiped when I picked up a '01 workhorse. So here is where I started and where I am headed.........

the cart as I got it.

with the 16 briggs in it

with the honda ex-400 front end in it.

My stainless tank my friend made me

as it sat right before the plans changed

got this which led to this

Just in case you are wondering,I am building a drag cart. The motor is a '03 Kawasaki ZX6 being coupled to a 91 honda prelude 5spd manual trans.I was planning on building independant rear suspension for it but decided to mount it all on a swingarm (I hope to be using airbags).I am using honda inner axles and cv's and outer axles/cv's from a dodge caravan. The rear brakes will be ford explorer rear rotors cut down using the ZX6 front calipers.Right now I am working on the rear hub bearing mounts.I picked up a set of 15x8 weld wheels for the rear and will run 10x4 douglas atv wheels in the front.I am going to run scooter tires on the front and a pair of 225/50r15 tires for the rear. After I get the rear set up I am going to cut the front end back out and reweld it to where the front will be "slammed".I am going to cut the back half of the frame off and do the "Pro Street" Thing. The rear wheels are going to be tucked up inside the wheel wells of the rear fenders(after I build them).More to come soon.......and yes Dave,I am almost done with the room!

Wow Richie that set up is looking awesome. I'm hoping to see it ( trying to come down with my cousin; I'll let you know a date asap). When you say the front end is going to have a "slammed" Look; do you mean slammed as in the cart flipping over backwards when those 15" tires hooks up. Only kidding; I know you will have a homemade wheely bar made out of some donor vehicle parts. Looks great. I'll give you a call after Christmas.
