Default The new project: Rust Bucket Rocket

I finally picked up my new project cart and i'm anxious to get started on it. Its going to be a slow build because of my work schedule, home remodeling and a 5 month on baby, but i'll get there soon enough.

For starters I picked up a '02 GSXR 750 motor with wiring and eveything and got a 2006 Ezgo ST gas yesterday (Hurricane Ike victim). The cart, to say the least, is pretty rough but I can handle it. The tear down begins. I'm going to take lots of pictures to post and to possibly give others ideas.

A GSXR 750 4 cylinder motorcycle engine in a golf cart?

Put some wings on it, because you may achieve liftoff....

If you do manage to stuff that motor in the cart, we HAVE to see this!

For sure rifter, but you are a little far away. I may need lots of pointers from ya though. I would love to run it at the local 1/4 mile track here. There are plenty of carts at the track just none on it.
I may want to get that sprocket assembly from you rifter for my stock rear end.

I will find some way to get this motor in my cart, nothing a porta-band and a welding machine cant fix........

I like the idea, but I'd sell that Ike cart and start with a "dry" cart. Read too many bad experiences with Ike carts. Good luck though and take lots of pics.
