Default Kawasaki 500cc Ninja engine into a G9E

Has anyone done this swap before? I just picked up my first project cart and have been brainstorming on what to power it with. It looks good on paper - small 2 cyl engine with 60hp but I'm not sure if I'm missing anything obvious.

I'm going to swap in a gas rear, lift it a few inches and figure out a way to add front brakes also, I plan on using it mostly off road but it may make it to the dragstrip a few times a year as a pit cart or to run around swap meets.

I was originally looking for a gas yamaha to start with but the cheapest one I've seen around here was $1500, the G9E was free from a friend, the charger went out so she moved up to a Rhino and the G9 was just sitting in her barn.

Mopar, Seen this old post and no one answered it. Did you try this swap? I have a 500 ninja engine sitting around and I thought of putting it into an EZGO project coming up. Put mine will be easier as it already was a gas cart

I did a search for your threads on the build. Only thing I found was in 2009 where you said it was 6 years before that. Nothing left of that thread. Any chance of you still haveing the pictures?
