fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
anyone knows how to get in touch with ez600rr?
i need to speak to him about what type walbro fuel pump and regulator setup I need for my 2007 GSXR 600 EFI. He had posted that he has a friend that can setup the fuel pump and regulator system to push the correct amount of fuel pressure for these type engines. I sent him a pm, but he has not visited this forum n a long time. |

Here is fuel pump: http://treperformance.com/i-788467-u...fuel-pump.html
Here is a regulator: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._674045161___# As far as the regulator, you could just head to the junk yard and look for a v6 accord, the regulators rarely go bad. Most any FI regulator will work, they all pretty much are designed for ~48 psi. Then again, if the bike engine has a return line on it (some do) all you need is a pump as the regulator is already there. |

Re: fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
thanks for taking the time to help me
I am putting this engine in my cart and do not have the fuel pump, tank and return lines form the the bike so I will rig up my own with the info u gave me. Is there anything else I need to know about setting up the fuel system for this engine? I will use a small cylinder tank that I have seen on ebay and find the items U gave me. |

Re: fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
No prob. I have been checking out your design ideas on your build and it has definitely given me answers to questions I haven't had yet! But I have a long way to go. In my head I see a lifted, stretched tool cart/push buggy with dual rear wheels and a turbo'd Kawi ZX10R. It's a perverted dream...
I guess what i'm sayin about the injection is, are there 1 or 2 open ends to the fuel injection on your engine? If it is 1, you will need to obtain a regulator and a way to rig a return line because it is a returnless system. If you have 2, it more than likely has a regulator built in to the system, and you wouldn't need to buy one. I'll see what I can dig up on the 07's. Your tank sounds fine, just make sure it is vented somewhere. |

Re: fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
you need 43.5psi a regulator and a pump. any old pump will work. buy a cheapie fuel pressure regulator with gauge off ebay. The whole setup will cost less than $100

Re: fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
thx guys,
I do not know much about these engines and will need some help by anyone who knows anything about them ... like to answer the question of the return fuel line issue. Macboost... does the o7 GSXR 600 engine have a return fuel line for the injection already or do I have to rig one up? |

the gsxr needs a regulator. here is one for example. You will need a return line to make the regulator work. the gsxr needs 43.5psi constant fuel pressure. let the vacuum port on the regulator vent to atmosphere. |

Re: fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
How about using the factory pump off a bike mounted to a tank, no regulator needed. I just picked up a pump for my gsxr 750 build for $30 shipped...........
A guy I found on ebay has lots of GSXR parts at good prices. I bought my radiator assembly, shifter, 2 air boxes, exhaust header and a 17 tooth sprocket from him for $200.... |

Re: fuel pump setup gsxr 600 efi
i dropped the in tank fuel pump in the tank with the hose coming out the top vent with the wires. i used the stock feed as the return. the pump just floats in the tank tethered with the hose. external pumps are noisy and more expensive. this was cheap and easy. you can adjust your global air fuel by playing with the pressure.
