Default Sprocket for EZGO transaxle

I thought I read a post about someone finding a hub or sprocket that will fit the EZGO input shaft splines on the rear axle. But I couldn't find it. I have a 96 Tuff 1 and am doing a little head scratching for an engine. I have a 500 ninja engine sitting here but I do know I would have to overdrive to the rear axle.Just in the research stage right now. I don't have either clutch so the options are open. And I really don't need a 60 hp engine, other than the cool factor. Can you still be cool at 56?But I have a 16 clone also that I am eyeing also.

If your thinking about using the MC engine you may want to mount the engine first. I just put a GSXR 600 engine in my cart. the splines on input shaft do not lineup with trans. sprocket, just my 2cents. good luck

The 500 is a 2 cyclinder engine and about 2/3 as wide as the 600 4 cyclinders. But I haven't checked alignment yet, still in the think stages. But thanks
