4x4 atv fuel pump
I'm wondering if anybody knows how a Kodiak 400 4x4 (or any atv engine that is gravity fed) would run with an electric fuel pump? I could mount the atv tank in the bed but I would prefer to use the stock gas tank in the cart.

Re: 4x4 atv fuel pump
Don't really understand why your asking, but with any engine (non fuel injected) you'd need to regulate the pressure down very low. I think less then 3 lbs (sound right guy's) or the float could never close and flood the engine.

Re: 4x4 atv fuel pump
You'll see why in a bit.
Thanks for the info. I've decided to still use the atv tank. Read too many issues on atv forums about these engines not running right with an electric pump. |
