A new idea ?
A first for me, I just bought a very reasonable condition Columbia Par Car for $300. (1989) I also got with it a 300 cc electric start Honda single cylinder automatic engine with forward and reverse from an "EXT" ? Dunno The Honda has a splined PTO which appears to approximately match the rear axle of the cart. This set up would appear to obviate the need for clutches since the automatic has an inbuilt CVT and torque convertor. The neutral selection would appear to kill the need of a standard cart drive. Thoughts anyone ?
I know nothing about this motor, the cart is easy enough since it was originally powered by the old Robin engine. All ideas appreciated. FC |

Re: A new idea ?
Crappieguy29 did something similar to this, but with an EZGO from 1984
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...-engine-2.html You should be able to get some ideas from his build if your differential has the input spline shaft perpendicular to the axle, like on the '84 EZGO Good luck and hope to see some pics |
