Default reverse gearbox ideas

Thinking about converting my build to A-ARM IR suspension at rear because I HATE my swing arm setup so far.

With my engine cradle swing arm setup, it seems as though the rear tires carry all the weight of the buggy... very bouncy ride with little if any actual suspension movement.

Maybe I need to try some soft progressive type rear shocks, before I give up on it? ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS GUYS????

Anyways, does anyone know of a gearbox with reverse, that can receive a CV type axle system that is not outrageously expensive

I looked at the RPM and JEFFCO, very nice setups... but they are way to proud ... to darn expensive!

Thoughts?

I saw those, and may have to resort to similar, but, I prefer to have some type of gear case, for power reverse.

Look at Polaris Quads. They have belt-drive Transmissions,Hi,Lo,Rev. 2 and 4 wheel-drive,and models like the Sportsman have IRS.Some models are shaft-drive,others are chain-drive from the trans. to the axle.Yamaha Grizzly uses a small, compact IRS rear, with a shaft-drive.Hope this helps.
