Polaris 400 swap
Hello, I'm a fanuga...and I was looking for some insight from you folks. I am putting a polaris 400 in place of my Honda 24hp. I'm wondering if someone out there has done it and what the hurdles were...?

Re: Polaris 400 swap
This is a pretty common swap... I have not done this one personally but I've seen some installations and they didn't look to hard.
Rememeber you need a good spot for the radiator.. other than that just fab up the engine mounts so the clutches are lined up and fit the belt you plan on using. what cart are working with? ... Ezgo? |

Re: Polaris 400 swap
It's a Par Car. I was hoping to see how someone routed the exhaust pipe and radiator. It didn't look too hard to me either but...you never know. Did you hear if they worked OK?

Re: Polaris 400 swap
Ohh ya! they are very fast and can be built to 70+HP ....
Here's my friend Blake's cart: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/bike-...aris-cart.html It's a smaller motor so it doesn't take up much room.. Don't know anything about Par Cars tho |
