RC51 Honda Engine
A friend has an RC51 complete engine with everything to make it work and is trying to get me to buy it and put it in my cart instead of using the Genarac 32 hp V-Twin.
I don't think there's any way to use a CVT clutch with that set up Are they? I don't want to have a shifter and change gears, but it would be a cool build!!!!!! LURCH!!!! |

Re: RC51 Honda Engine
Don't think a CVT is going to work on that motor... You would have to make a shifter, solid chain drive axle set up...
I drove my buds Rhino with a RC51 in it in the dunes and it was very fast... The Rhino was 14" wider and 10" longer than stock (2WD only) and it was still a puckerfest going wide open in that thing.. I don't think a Cart is a good home for that mill unless your going to extremely modify the chassis, suspension, roll cage, ect.... Post some pics if you do it!!! |
