Well here it is....
Well here's a year and a half, on and off, worths of work so far lol. I think the golf cart is a 1996 Yamaha and the motor is out of a 1988 Kawasaki ZX10, 1 3/8" rear axle, shocks are take-offs from a Polaris rzr, all fab work done by me. Thanks to rifter answering a couple of my questions earlier on I finally got something to show as far as progress. Still a lot of work left to do, currently on the front subframe/ a-arms. I'm going to be ordering wheels and tires this week sometime as soon as I decided between 26's and 28's. 2013-08-15 17.30.55.jpg

Cool What are you going to use the car for when finished? Trails/sand?

Re: Well here it is....
Sorry guys, I work 60+ hr weeks so its hard to find time to work on this. But I did get the a-arms designed and the brackets for them made. I ended up going with 28" tires and this is close to how it is going to sit when done

Re: Well here it is....
Any ideas on what sprocket size I should be running in the back? The front is a 17 tooth and the tires are 28"s. Not looking to go any faster than 60

Re: Well here it is....
I built one with a CBR1000RR engine, after several different sprocket combinations I came up with a size that wouldn't bog on launch at the Drag Strip, 24 inch slicks, 13 tooth front, 60 tooth rear. With that combination I could launch at 12000 the slicks would hook and I could make a good 1/8th mile pass. Yours being Off Road and even larger diameter tires your going to want about the same sprocket combination to keep your engine RPMs up and not bog. Remember, Sport Bike engines have alot of Horsepower but not alot of Torque, you have to make up torque with gearing.

Re: Well here it is....
Still no wheel adapters but I did get all the a-arms and mounts tacked up. The stock air box sat to high and would be in the way for the seats so I started drawing up a low profile air box that I will make. I think the gas/brake pedals and brake lines are going to be my biggest problems. Any suggestion on pedals you guys have used on yours? I have raptor 660 brakes up front and am going to be running a single disc brake in the rear, how can I link those together with equal pressure going to all three of them?

Take a look at my Yamaha G cart with the CBR 1000RR engine build, it shows answers to alot of your questions.
