Default Polaris Trail Boss motor into Yamaha G2

Introduction:
Hey Guys, I am preparing to do a motor swap from my 1990 Polaris 250 Trail Boss into a Yamaha G2 and I was hoping I could get some input on problems I may run into as well get some advice from anybody that might have done this kind of swap before.

This is the golf cart:
When I got it

What it looks like now

This is the donor ATV.

Some things I already have looked into:
- I realize i will need to fabricate new motor mounts into the golf cart and have already verified that the ATV motor will fit in the space available.
- The primary clutch from the ATV motor seems to match up well with the secondary clutch of golf card trans. But would it be more logical to try and put the secondary from the ATV on the transaxle shaft?
- I have already figured out most of the wiring to for turn-key starter.
- I have concerns about the exhaust not fitting into the space provided and i would like to try and keep the exterior of the cart to remain the same as much as possible. Being that this is a 2-stroke motor, fabricating an exhaust to fit might pose as a problem. (something I'll probably have to look deeper into after the motor is in!?)

Any advice that can be provided before diving into the project would be greatly appreciated, especially if you think im wasting my time, haha.
