Paint, body materials, etc ???
What's up everyone? I wasn't exactly sure where to put these series of questions. Picked up a 97 CC DS last summer. Runs great. Looking to do some mods before summer hits.
1) I want to paint the roof and bodywork. I was wondering. Is the body material and the roof made of an abs plastic or is most of it fiberglass? What is the best route to determining the materials used so I can go about getting the proper paint. 2) The metalwork attached on the cart (I.e. Roof support, frame, rear seat structures) - Are these made of steel (I assume frame is?), Aluminium (possibly roof support?), etc. I'm looking to powder coat these things. I just wanted to see if this is possible. Thanks |

The body on the 97 is plastic I think, the metal trim and roof supports are aluminum.

The frame is aluminum also.
