Default Clear over truck bed coating?

Looking at painting the roof of my 2011 precedent and thinking of going the truck bed coating route (Duplicolor Truck Bed Coating). Scuff, degrease, adhesion promoter then spray can Truck bed coating is my plan. My concern is the coating getting dull over a period of time. Is it possible to put a few coats of clear coat on top once all the base coats are all done? If so is there different types of clear coat?

Duplicolor is a good quality product, read the can about what they recommend as for a top coat. I have used the bed coating on cart frames in the past, holds up very well.

I sprayed one of my last CC's in rattle can Bed Armor. I did the body and the top. Held up great. I could do touch ups any time, but I didn't top coat it with anything, thinking that I COULD do touch ups later when I scratched it.

It looks like it's screwed up going on, but looks great after it settles down some.

I just did the same thing to the front bumper of my F-350 before winter, and that did not go well at all. Chrome bumper was the problem. I didn't sand it enough. Good news is, it's peeling off super easy.
