crack repair
Club Car use only off road. Takes a pretty bad beating during hunting season.
Getting a couple cracks around rear access door. Tried plastic welding with a soldering gun without much luck. Thinking about trying some epoxy. Any ideals would be appreciated. |

Re: crack repair
Drill a small hole at the end of each crack, it should stop the crack from spreading. I used to do this on dirt dikes and snowmobiles and stitch them back with zip ties the length of the crack. It worked.

Re: crack repair
I have welded plastic with a 140 watt iron, my gun got too hot. I bought the PVC rod to weld my Faring on my Electra Glide. Be very patient though, it takes a lot of time. I had to weld some and then sand it, and then weld some and then sand again to get it right.
