Are you clear coating everything?

I've painted all my plastic trim (the trim that has a roughness to it). Ive sprayed 5 coats and it looks great. Are you putting something on the final coat like the clear, or are you just doing that on the smooth main panels? Thanks

If You didn't use a good adhesion promoter it won't matter, that trim really hates to bond long-term with almost anything unless it is correctly prepped IE Degreaser/dewaxer, scuffed, re-cleaned, adhesion promoter (2 coats) then primed and shot ... Clearing is up to Your personal taste, but if You used a standard basecoat auto paint and not a single-stage urethane or enamel you have no choice but to clear it.

Most people just use a quality "Trim Restorer" on the plastics - but it depends on the look You are going for and how much use and abuse the cart gets. There are guys that swear by Krylon Fusion, LOL - it all depends on how professional You want the results and if You are concerned about the job lasting more than a few months.
