"TEXTING" the only thing you can do while driving your golf cart that you can't do in a Jeep.

I just haven't done and body work, so this might be a first "mess".

Too bad you aren't closer to me or, if I ended up needing it, I could get a price from you for the job. I like your work.
You'll get it - I've got faith in ya

Just take your time! A light coat of clear BEFORE you tape (let dry - of course) might just be the trick...

X2 on this.....here's a picture. Although, I didn't do any cutting, mine is all masked.

Just to refresh your memory, here's the before pic.

Here's the "almost" finished project. I'm going to let the paint set up for several days and then wet sand again. I might add another coat of clear, then polish.

Clean looks, nice gloss, very well done!
BTW, Most tops are about 6' high +/-, did you chop the top or are you 7' tall?

You know, Doug, I thought that thing looked pretty short too when I saw the pics. Don't know. I'm 6'2" and that top hasn't been altered because the windshield fit juuuust right. The gloss should increase somewhat, since I haven't polished it yet.
I guess I could have had some fun with it and said that I was really tall, but.....

I think one of the things that make people so impatient with paint work is all these **** Overhaulin', Pimp My Ride, Trick My Truck kinds of flipping shows, where they do a full rebuild and trick custom paint job over 5-7 days, and when they're showing the paint work it APPEARS to all be done in 1 day. That makes everyone think it's easy, and possible, to do a quickie job.

Looks good though. Did you take pics of the area that peeled and you had to repair? Did it come out good?
