Default Gave a shot at painting

I painted the front cowl of my EZGO using the rattle can duplicolor lacquer products. This was the first time painting a body and these are the steps I did.

Wiped down the body with a prep wipe to remove any grease or wax. Cleaned off with a dry rag.

Wet sanded body using 600 grit sand paper.

Prep wipe body again and wipe down with a tack rag.

Applied 2 coats of primer.

3 base coats

4 clear coats

I didn't do any sanding between coats because it seemed to be looking good. The only thing I am not sure about is why each pass I did shows up when I finish a coat? Otherwise the paint looks even, no runs, or orange peel. You can just see each and every pass that I made.

I just finished and had to get out of there fast with all the bugs hitting me in the head and trying to stick to the paint.

I used the Duplicolor on mine. I sanded between coats on the front and applied wet looking coats on the back this evening. I anxious to see how mine does with no sanding between coats and just wet sanding at the end of the base.

I want to see your pics too.
