Lightbulb Changing the colors of Seat Pads

Years ago when I was involved with friends that had vehicles that were always being fixed up, one fellow I know was able to take the vinyl covering on the bench seat of his truck and change it, and it looked great.

Has anyone done this on their golf cart?

I have 2 different colored seats on this golf cart and I'm wanting to switch them to blue, medium blue.

I'm assuming it's a dye that's applied but I don't know where to even start on this process.

The back rests are black, the seat is white. The color of the golf cart will be blue, carnival blue when it is done.

The SEM vinyl paint is a good product as long as you follow the instructions.

The vinyl paint cost $66 for that pint of lighter blue to cover solid black and white seats, plus that instant spray bottle that worked awesome for this application.

The finished product turned out excellent and durable.
