maybe spray paint thinner on it and let it soak. Just keep soaking it

The paint and body experts will probably tell you to get some sandpaper and some grease for the elbow. We'll see.
Why to you want to get the old paint off? Is it chipping?

You might want to try a vibrator type sander. A rotary sander would be too aggressive, but you could probably take lots of work out of it with the vib. sander and some 300 grit paper.

300 is not even close to being rough enough to sand it down . i was using 120 and it was barely coming off .

So using a paint stripper on plastic might be pretty risky, I say might because I have never tried aircraft stripper on plastic. If you can wait for one more day I can do a test on it when I get home today, I have and extra front cowl and some aircraft grade paint stripper which is as strong as they make. Removing paint is never any fun but remember what ever chemicals you use to remove it you still have to be able to put paint back over it so be carefull what you use.

Chemical strippers are gonna melt the TXT bodywork. Keep sanding, or start looking for replacement cowls.
