Master66 you out there? Your thoughts ??
I just removed the rear body section on my '96 club car ds to do some work on the battery system. What I found was an extremely corroded battery tray. It got me thinking about what I could do to protect the aluminum tray rails. My first thought was to clean them up and give them a coat of rhino liner(or something similar). Wondering if anyone has tried this yet. Even of you haven't, any input would be appreciated. Also your thoughts on the best way to clean and prep the aluminum?[B]

Re: Master66 you out there? Your thoughts ??
Sorry I have been gone for a while. The easist way to clean aluminum is with an aluminum etcher, I use a product from Zep called Zepalume. As far as the Rhino liner goes I haven't used that but I do use something called POR15. It is hard as a rock but a little spendy, just make sure to read the can and follow all of the instructions and warnings, if you get it on you're hands and it dries it does not come off. I hope this helps and sorry for the late reply.
