Default Black plastic restore made easy

Picked this stuff up ST the local advance auto and was really impressed. All my plastic was fading pretty bad and in about an hour I had it all looking new. Supposed to last about a year.

It is a a dye. It dries in about 10 minutes and seems to be wearing pretty good so far.

I have seen this before but never tried it. I have always just used a dab of 30wt on a rag. Wipe it on, let it sit a few and wipe off the excess.

I taped off the paint. But I did get a little on the paint but it came off pretty easy with a wet rag before it dried.

Andy,

How is this product holding up? My plastics are in dire need of a refresh. I was compete plating just painting them, but if this works then I will try it.

Is this paint friendly? in other words if it gets on a surface will like the body can you still paint the body or is it some kind of silicone.

It is still holding up great. Nice and black still.

No worries on paint, I used a wet rag to wipe it away.
